I didn't get pics, but I mounted the Dynon
back-up battery and then riveted the
glareshield. It's kind of a big step to
rivet the glareshield because things aren't
easily accessible anymore. I only riveted
every other hole just incase in the process
of fitting the windshield or something else
I have to open it up.
I'm 99.9% sure I
won't have to open it (that's why I riveted
it) but I just feel better not having all
the rivets in it for now.
The next thing that needs completed to get
this project moving along is the windshield.
After the windshield I can mount the doors
and the top window.
As what seems is normal for Zenith parts,
they are made poorly. Here you can see how
the ends of the top part of the windshield
are molded with a huge bump at the end.
Someone please explain how this is suppose
to sit flat on the spar??
See how it 'bubbles' up on the ends?
I'm not sure how I'm going to deal with this
so I've stopped for the day.
