This morning I've re-mounted the top cable pulley further aft on the fuselage. Shown here are the two L angles I've made as stiffeners. These are riveted under the top skin.
Notice they go from edge to edge for maximum support.
Blurry pic but shows that the ends of the angles are beveled for a perfect fit.
Once the angles were clecod under the skin I drilled the holes for the pulley bracket.
All four holes are drilled.
Everything clecod in place to check fit.
Finally the L's are riveted under the skin and the bracket is clecod for now. I won't rivet it until after the airplane is primed.
