I'm working on a few odds-n-ends. I finished the elevator trim tab.
I also drilled these aft side fuselage pieces.
The bottom of the vert stab spar fits perfectly at the bottom, but at the top, it's about 1/4" wider than the fuselage so it is pushing these side pieces out.
Can you see how the spar channel really doesn't fit between the aft fuse skins? I need to call Roger and ask about this.
I bought this 1/16" clear lexan on Amazon for a few bucks. I cut the top to teh correct size, and marked the holes for the inspection window.
I will use small sheet metal screws to attach it to the frame, however, I will wait until after the interior is painted.
Since the windows are cut and drilled, I can now install these L and R bulkheads.
Here is the pilot side.
I drilled this hole as this is where I'm going t run the wires from the aft fuselage forward. The grey elevator trim wire is in the bottom corner channel.
The comm antenna cable is on the other side of the fuselage. I wanted to route it separate from the other electrical wires to prevents any noise contamination in the radio.
